Lt Col William Jason Glenn is the Commander, 151st Maintenance Group, 151st Air Refueling Wing, Roland R. Wright Utah Air National Guard Base, Salt Lake City, Utah. Lt Col Glenn is responsible for the safe and effective combat and peacetime employment of 9 KC-135R aircraft. In addition, he is responsible for the training and proficiency of 250 aircraft maintainers assigned to the group. Lastly, he ensures personnel are ready to mobilize, deploy and sustain aircraft and associated equipment for worldwide expeditionary aerospace operations.
Lt Col Glenn is a 2003 graduate of the University of Utah and was commissioned through AFROTC that same year. His experience includes several strategic and operational staff and base level tours in logistics plans, aerial port management, materiel management, and logistics operations. He has deployed to Iraq and to U.S. CENTRAL COMMAND HQ and, most recently, to Guam where he led over 100 aircraft maintenance personnel for the Pacific Tanker Task Force.
