Lt. Col. Boyd Badli and 1st Lt. David Geerdes, both pilots with the 151st Air Refueling Wing, prepare for an Airbourne Warning and Control System (AWACS) refueling mission onboard a Utah Air National Guard KC-135 tanker. More than 35 Airmen from the Utah Air National Guard are deployed to Geilenkirchen Air Base, Germany from July 26 to August 7 to support the air refueling training for the NATO AWACS aircrews.
