Utah Air National Guard Launches Streamlined Promotion System for Junior Airmen
The Utah Air National Guard, 151st Force Support Squadron, has launched a new streamlined time-based promotion tracking system to ensure Airmen ranked E-1 to E-4 are promoted on time and never overlooked. Previously, junior enlisted promotions were tracked haphazardly, relying on supervisors and unit personnel to verify eligibility—a process that often led to delays. By essentially automating the tracking of Initial Active Duty Training (IADT) dates, this new process compiles a monthly list of eligible Airmen, providing unit commanders with a streamlined, accurate way to manage promotions.
