A KC-135E model is delivered to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group at Davis-Monthan Air Force base.
Air Force KC-135 E-model aircraft, tail number 0327, is recieved by 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group personeel at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base on April 24. The 50-year-old aircraft was delivered to the group for long-term storage at the 2,600-acre facility after serving the 151st Air Refueling Wing, Utah Air National Guard for more than 20 years. The 309th AMARG is a one-of-a-kind specialized facility within the Air Force Materiel Command's 309th Maintenance Wing at Hill AFB, Utah. The 309th AMARG provides critical aerospace maintenance and regeneration capabilities for Joint and Allied/Coalition warfighters in support of global operations and agile combat support for a wide range of military operations.
